  • Pop Quiz: February 2009 Collectible Automobile

By now, most forum members who will ever have one, have acquired their copy of the February 2009 Collectible Automobile. Although I've read it several times, I noticed something unusual last evening for the first time. Did anyone else notice it?

To wit: Other than the front cover, on what page does a Studebaker (or part of a Studebaker) first appear in the magazine? What is it? BP
We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

    G. K. Chesterton: This triangle of truisms, of father, mother, and child, cannot be destroyed; it can only destroy those civilizations which disregard it.

Why, I can't believe I missed it, too ... but sure enough, there's an orange whirly thing (supercharger) and pressure box atop an R3 engine RIGHT ON PAGE 1!

Nope, Don; it's before the contents page. Jacob Newkirk got it right: It's on Page 1!

How many others missed that?[:0] BP

That's not unusual to any regualar reader of Collectible Automobile. They always have a teaser picture at the top of page 1 that pertains to one of the articles in the issue. It's good to see that is of a Studebaker, though.
