  • Vote for Sid in the NY Times contest finals

OK, the car is now owned by another forum member, but it still made the finals and is a Studebaker.

JDP, I am voting daily for "our" car every day however, unless our forum members overwelm the voters,
my money would be on the 56 Mark II conv to win.I hope "we" win,I believe my 55 Lemon/lime
Speedster was also entered in this contest a few years back as if you look deep enough in the Times archives you will find it.

I couldn't access this for some reason before, but not that I can~ I have this to say.

Normally I would go with green over red anyday~ and twice on Sunday.
There is a super nice red Studebaker I'll be voting for instead... [^]

          Sorry Sid.

Hey, as long as a Studebaker wins, WE win. Having said that, unless the entire forum votes for a Studebaker, we don't have a prayer of beating the more popular cars. OK, Jeff did it, but his was yellow.

Just shows the quality build and reliability that a
Studebaker can log that many miles and STILL look that good!

I can't seem to create a profile with which to vote. Methinks that they don't want anyone registering till after the vote, perhaps[?]

You don't need a profile unless you are displaying a car.

The Stude is nice...hope it does well in the contest.
I was impressed with the Barris Vox (amplifier) mobile.
Good to see it's still around and well looked after.
A lot of those custom promotional cars (and extreme car show cars) didn't survive, many were scrapped for their engines and drivetrains.
