  • 1964 Mademoiselle

Has anyone ever determined what happened to the Mademoiselle convertible? Are there any good pictures of it that were made by the factory? Was it painted the same lavender that was used on the 1957 Packards? Finally, were there any unusual interior decorator touches?

Has anyone tried to make a duplicate?

I don't see why one would WANT to make a duplicate unless it was for your wife or daughter!

It's beautiful and it will be in Turning Wheels soon.

        Hi Scott,

The last I heard about the mademoiselle convertible is that it has not been found, and it is possible that the factory had it repainted and sold it as a regular car. I have never heard of a clone, but I want to do it because of what it was and I like some pinks on a few cars.[8D]

Yes; fully accounted for and the subject of up-coming Turning Wheels coverage, as Art says. (Not my article; someone else's...) BP
We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

Monomaniac, I guess we typed at the same time. Is your car the original?

Funny, sounds like a car my youngest daughter would love! She's a thoroughly liberated girl, yet loves pink and feminine stuff.[:X] Go figure (LOL)!

Liberated enough, to be liberated enought to like what she likes, and like being female, now that is really liberated!
