I am finnaly installing the power steering that was semi there when I bought the car. What is the best fluid to use? I would assume a good synthetic oil would be good!

Type A aytomatic transmision fluid was used back when these cars were built, I use Dextron 3 currently. You do NOT want to put oil in it.

Summit Racing or Jegs Performance carries the sheathing your're asking about, but if you look in the parts manual or mabe the shop manual, you can see in the picture the wire spring that keeps the hoses back away from the exhaust manifold. It is attached to a tab on a bolt on top of the steering box. OBTW, the spring has a plastic cover on it...the spring is probably broken or missing by now.. Hope this helps.
