    I have seen this advertised.
    One of the claimed advantages is that if one forgets and leave the key on it won't harm the unit.
    Has anyone used this on a Studebaker?
    Any opinions of those who tried them?

    If it's true and you are in the habit of leaving the key on 10 to 20 minutes with the engine off, it's a live saver. If you don't leave it on, you don't need it.

    Edit: In light of the link shown below by Dick, I agree, it could be a lot more.

        I don't have the Petronix Igniter II but the old I series. Had it on my 66 for about 15 years and no problems at all.
