  • Studebaker Day

Had a chapter meeting today with some nice scenery.

    Dirtiest car there!

My youngest cousin's 5th birthday too. Haleigh seems to like her granddad's Hawk as much as Jeff Rice's truck. (He was at a meeting a couple months ago). Of course, all women are attracted to black finned Hawks.

We had three or four Studes show up to our tour of a local chrome shop today. I was late, so I didn't get any pictures before we left and headed off for lunch at a local Mexican Eatery~ where there was not much parking. Our cars were scattered all over DownTown La Mesa [:0] [V]

Looks like your Lark has some Georgia mud!

I also drove my Studebaker yesterday to Tom Covington's (R5Lark) house.

I made a video because my transmission is making some intermittent noise, but you can't here it. The video is boring because I was driving home from Tom's house on the interstate.

The day was warm, humid and windy and threatened to rain. By the time I got home there was a brief shower and I caught this rainbow.

Wish I would have had the time to attend....
Coming off a two week road trip that had multiple Studebaker sidetrips (Reedsville and two separate Avanti beatings[:0])
I got home to do a massive load of laundry and start on a honeydoo list that was scary...
"Yes dear, I'll be right there... I'm checking my e-mail"...
          Sigh[|)]

You should've came Jeff. You would've been broke by the time you left. I charge extra for cleaning off Georgia red clay.

Here's a pic of my honeydo project for this weekend.
Has to be done by Thanksgiving...
(You can see Pat and Emily Skellys' tile saw outside the front door...worked slick! Thanks Pat & Emily!)

Heavy rain the night before had the river bank soggy. A brand X got stuck. I pulled him out with the old red(FRED) Studebaker truck. NT
