  • U JOINT ?? FOR S10 REAREND SWAP

I'm looking for any help on an s10 rearend swap for u-joints? I know they make odd u-joint with different size caps but I dont know if they make the cross different lenghts - the s10 yoke is 1/2" wider than the 1948 land cruiser I have. I just did a tune up and found enough power in the old girl to explode the spider gears and the ring and pinion could stand to see a dentist as well, hence the swap. I seen a post from lstude that gave me which rear end had the right width for the swap, but no yoke advise.... Thanks for any input

Driveline shops and maybe some parts stores sell a special "U" joint that some Chevys use, that has the '64 Chev. 1/2 ton truck Spicer joint on two ends (same as Stude) and a larger one on the other 2 ends, maybe that would convert it.

Thank you STUDERICH - I knew they made one but I didn't know for what application.
