  • looking for part, help!! (FOUND)

    I'm looking for a NOS (Dash board) speaker cover grill for my 1958 President, I've tried I think all the normal places. Any suggestions? thanks in advance Jim R

    Have you tried SASCO? I was amazed at all the new parts I found there for my 56 Parkview.

      Yes, I've tried SASCO and Stude Int. Stude West and some others. Would really love to have this part. JR

            Actually, Scott - that's for a '56 sedan.

            1957 Transtar 1/2ton
            1960 Larkvertible V8
            1958 Provincial wagon
            1953 Commander coupe
            1957 President two door

            No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

                Yea, close but no cigar! tried the place in Texas also, he only carries mechanical parts. Was hoping someone would know someone who bought out some dealerships or something. or maybe there is another stude place other then SASCO or Stude Int that has a good inventory???? thanks for the suggestions. JIm R

                  IFOUND IT!!!!! I never did try Stude West. He has about 60 of them if anyone else needs one. Only $30.00!! what a great country!!

                    Thanks Jim - I'll get one for my wagon.

                    Edit: BTW, not too long ago I bought these NOS for my '57 from SASCO. Came with the chromed bezel too! And they had the face piece for the instruments too.
