Thanks Mike! I just sent Phil an e-mail. How long would you keep an unused hose before you would be reluctant to trust it? Would the rubber break down?

Keep them out of the light and they should be good to go for many years. The ones I was using on my PHawk were a set of NOS hoses. They were at least 50 years old and still pliable. I did not really trust them so I am happy someone reproduced the hoses. Its not like we have a lot of choices. These are the newest ones on the block. I am sure there are others who can give you a better informed answer.

I just replaced mine. My bottom hose looked good, but the rubber was dead. Fortunately, it blew one-half mile down the road (instead of far away).

Thank you Phil.
