Good morning! Has anyone any info on this nice-looking Champ in GA? Unfortunately there are no under the hood shots" and the sale ends today:

I know that truck, and the $5K is probably what he has invested, if not less.

It's an OHV 6 engine, and it does have overdrive. It's a very clean, sanitary truck that you could probably drive anywhere. From what I remember, the engine ran nice and smooth, and he even has dual exhaust hooked up. The guy had the seat upholstered in vynil, though it has the '55 Speedster 'diamond' pattern stitched into it. It's a nice truck, and IMHO, well worth the $5K starting bid.


Also, the engine is detailed and the valve cover was powder coated in white. He said he wanted something a little different. I'm not sure if the engine was rebuilt or not, but it was detailed.

He also has an equally nice '58 Scotsman 4 door for sale, also for $5K.
