The show was a success. I counted 188 cars, don't know what the official count will be.

Didn't have much time to visit or take pics, but I did capture the Studes there, along with a couple of other interesting orphans. One of them made me think of Dick's ute.)

Thanks for the pics, evil twin. I've seen more than a few of those Edsel Rancheros lately. I really like those efforts. Must have been a popular swap.

That'd be a President, yes!!! Pretty cool, eh [?] Looks a little bit like one that was near Jacksonville, Florida when I was last stationed there. Matt will know if it's still at Nollie's place or not, I'll bet. ;) :) [^]

There's a two door version (of sorts) on eBay right now, but I don't think it looks quite that good... [B)] :( [V] [xx(]

Nice pics Dave. I'm partial to the Champ. Same color as mine. there's a '59 Edsel Ranchero in Rome, NY. Very cool car. Would look better with me behind the wheel!

Dave,
What is going on with the gas tank door on the wagon?

There appears to be a fuel nozzle and hose in the fuel filler on the wagon. Maybe the wagon has something like a big block Chevrolet that needs a constant supply of gasoline <G>.

Nope, it's not Dave. Doc Cade bought it from Nollie, and it has since been fully restored. And boy, is that a pretty car. [8D] You can certainly tell that it was a no-expense-spared, no shortcuts restoration. Derwood (he does most of their resto work) is truly a craftsman. [^] (When we were there a week ago, he had the new roof completely installed on Stephen's '61 Hawk. And he's pretty good with a fork lift too!)

Great to see Sheba on the dash plaque! Looks like a great show.

About that Edsel Ranchero. There used to be one of those around town. I figured it was a one off. But then I saw another one someplace, can't remember where and I began wondering if they actually produced a Ranchero model in the Edsel line. Know with this one at your show and information that there are more out there, I'll publicly ask the question -- Did Edsel have its own version of the Ranchero?
