  • Glovebox photos needed

I am seeking good close-up photos of Studebaker gloveboxes. I'll be using 9 of them for creating a spiffy new cover for Larry Swanson's 2007 edition of the SDC Glovebox Guide. See the example graphic below. The 9 is not etched in stone but I was thinking a good cross-section might be:

    30s-46 car
    53-55 C/K or sedan
    56-58 sedan
    56-64 Hawk/GT Hawk
    Early Lark
    Later Lark (showing the vanity?)
    M-series pickup
    c-cab pickup
    63-64 Avanti

If you have (or wish to take) a fairly high resolution photo (color okay but will be used B&W), please email it to me asap at webmaster@studebakerdriversclub.com. Unfortunately, the only thing I can offer for your trouble is my gratitude.

Damn, I could knock out six of those just from my collection! I take it that you want to show them as closed (except as noted for the late Lark) similar to your pictures?

Yes, I'd prefer them closed. They can also be from different vantage points as the example shows (left, right, straight on, etc.) Thanks.

            Bob,

Like a good teacher, you need to give us a deadline for submission. Only my '62 GT is stored at my house, I will need to take a little trip to get the others.

Well, I'd like to wrap this up before the end of the month is that's possible.

If it's not too late, Mr. Shaw, the interior of my truck is getting ready today for a glove box photo shoot. (Also, I'm trying to bump this thread to the top in case you don't yet have enough glovebox photos submitted, seeing as how the "end of the month" fast approaches).
