Have Jims Cruiser I bought - need to transport from Martinsburgh WVa. to Atlanta (Jonesboro) just south of airport near I-75.

Anybody got an empty trailer returning?

Lou, if you don't have any luck, try here:

http://www.haulingdepot.com/

You'll get a bunch of quotes- works pretty well.

Of course, the top Stude specialist is Peg Trucking. Definitely try them first.

Nice website. Only works for major metros apparently (doesn't recognize my city or zip code.) Also no Studebaker option in the drop down....

Is it driveable? It's a long shot, but if you'd consider doing it as a driveaway I might be heading down to Fayetteville, NC for the holidays - close enough to Atlanta that it might not be too bad for you to hitch a ride up and get it. (of course, then you'd have to think about your precious Stude mixing it up with the holiday-traffic idiots on I-95 the whole way...)

Alternately, the stock answer seems to be peg trucking http://www.pegtruckinginc.com/ - might be just as cheap as buying gas for a 289 for the drive!

Umm, yeah, it's drivable... it was discussed here recently; it was Jim Ferner's gorgeous car I drooled over at York. We talked about it, nitpicked it, saw it on eBay, and congratulated 289cruiser on his purchase...

Remember it now?[:I]
