Hey guy's

Well after 6 weeks and many $$$ over budget, Buds cab is done. It looks really good, the replacement floors look great, and the back panel under the rear window is no longer dented, and looks like glass.

You're right, Paul. It's got to be gratifying to see that all your efforts to find it a good home and the hard day of getting it loaded were good investments. Those pictures sure are good dividends!

Johnny B- Looking good, buddy! The plan Gord and I had was to buy it, reassemble it, and sell it to someone, without the finish work. Your plan is MUCH better!

So let's see: You helped out someone in dire straits, saved a worthy subject from an unknown fate, and will end up with a top-quality piece you can be proud of ANYWHERE!

I do love it when a plan comes together![^][^][^]

Hey Bams

That was kinda my plan with it at first also, except the resale part. But once I got it home I really started to realize that this was going to be MY truck for a long time (it really is the one I've been searching for) I figure it deserved the time & money. With being all original except for the 5spd. overdrive, and PS. The Apache Red over Black, original V8, half ton, short bed, & 4:09TT the whole package was just right. So on with the full monty resto. Getting most of the NOS parts required with the purchase of the truck, I'm sure I can get this one done for Cedar Rapids.

I just can't wait until I can take a trip down to give Paul & Larry a much deserved ride in this truck.

Could you imagine the scene when the seller sees his baby being loved and returned to it's former glory? That's a hanky moment all around[^]
