  • Need a studebaker hauled (Florida to Missouri)

Does anyone know of a hauler who would haul from Cape Coral Florida to the St. Louis , Mo. area. This is a parts car. Rolls good, doesn't run. '38 Commander. I believe its about 1200 miles. Any leads appreciated.

    '37 coupe express
    '38 coupe express
    '39 coupe express
    & now a '38 commander (for parts).

Of course there's Peg Trucking; but for a non-runner, here's two good places to post:

http://www.haulingdepot.com/ - Put in the info and you'll get several quotes over the next several days

http://www.ytmag.com/hauling/haulentry.htm - Same thing- enter the info and you'll receive replies.

The price will vary greatly depending on what you need- The more flexible you can be, the cheaper the price; i.e. flexible time frame, and if you can be flexible on pick-up and drop-off points, that may help as well.

I'm bringing a non-runner from CA to NY. Haulingdepot.com has netted me 22 quotes in the 2 weeks since I posted, from $1000 to $3884[:0]

If you can hook up with a LTL (less than load) haul, you'll get a good deal, since they're coming anyway, and are looking to fill out a partial hauler. Usually the primary load is paying the bills, so any add-on is found money; that's why the price is usually the best.

Good luck, and do let us know how you make out.

One of the things that must be put into consideration when signing up to vehicle transport services is if the really value the money of the customers.

I have experience with http://www.autotransport101.com/ and they treat me well.

I had Peg trucking haul a '40 president sedan from Greenville, SC to Tulsa, OK for $800. It was $650 plus $150 for non operating condition. Took three days from the time they picked it up until the dilivered it to me
