I like rodded Studes, but not when they try to make it ugly or dumb.

Well the kids are into this look now, and whatever it takes to keep em from the scrap heap is cool with me. This one though has some fetures I've never seen before The dual wheels, and that syrup tank. I like it.

I agree with you both. Luckily this one isn't ugly OR dumb- as John says, it's pretty cool! The rat-rod look isn't for everyone, but it has grown on me... but not to the point that I want one myself....

              I like it, too.

Heh, heh; here's a demonic thought: You know the way people often have large, professionally-made display boards positioned with their vehicles at car shows? The boards are often on an easel and may show before and after pictures, describe the car and its uniqueness and/or history, etc.

Well, here would be a fun way to display this truck at a car show: Make up an easel board listing the statute number and every known Federal, State, and local vehicle regulation and statute this vehicle violates. There would be hundreds of them, of course, and you could watch the smiles as people came by and started reading a horrendously-long list of violated "rules and regs" and descriptions of each. [}]

Think how long the list could be: Simple bumpers, of course, but also the myriad of Federal Motor Vehicle impact standards, flammability standards for interior materials, etc, etc, etc. Hilarious...but it would take you forever to research all of them... BP
We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

              G. K. Chesterton: This triangle of truisms, of father, mother, and child, cannot be destroyed; it can only destroy those civilizations which disregard it.

Don't know WHAT to say, like it in a way, would have liked to see the truck restored, BUT it does make a statement in this day & time.
