Hi Nelson,
the car has a genuine R4 in it and has been for sale in Perth for a long long time. It is owned by long time Australian member Kevin Bell who owns a number of particularly great cars. About $55k Australian rings a bell !!!
From memory the car went to Hong Kong before going to Australia.
The R4 probably went into it State side at some point. It is a lovely car, but a RHD Avanti is a fantastic way to devalue it. However at the time the only way to register cars in Oz was RHD so many cars that should never have been converted were.
Jim Quigley owned it in the 70's before it went to the current owner in WA

Hi Nelson,
we are fine, just a little bit older so I have semi really old cars now and not the real go fast ones.
I am married to a Canadian girl and have a 5 3/4 month old daughter.
I should get to the meet in Pa
as I am up in Toronto at the moment
The fan blade was from the 65 Commander race car that is now also owned by the same member that has the R4 Avanti
I have the 5 Studebaker Halibrands from that car, but cant find the wheel nuts and spinners since our last UK move in 2005. The mess of living and running a business from home. I cant find a lot of my Stude stuff as it is pusehed way to the back of the pile.
Hope you are well and down at Lancaster
Regards
Greg
