While working on my Hawk yesterday I had on Mythbusters (Discovery Channel) and they were looking to bust the myth of ejector seats in cars like James Bond and Austin Powers. They wanted a sporty like car that a spy would drive to cut up and try the experiments. Their first stop was a Studebaker scrapyard, I am assuming was in CA somewhere. The showed a Hawk first but settled on an Avanti. It was a bright orange color in sad shape, but no too bad. The gal on the show said hey this is a cool ride. Fortunately for the Avanti they could not use it due to the way the roof and glass came together. They settled on some import job. I lost interest after that and did not see the end but it was interesting to see Studes on the show!

The I see the Mythbusters guys in my neighborhood from time to time. They film mostly in Alameda/Oakland. I wonder if the yard they visited was Bob Peterson's (C&B Studebaker) in Hayward. It would make sense, as it's nearby.

Hmmm... YES. THE CAPSLOCK KEY DOES MAKE IT EASIER TO READ THE FONT. Even if it's a tad rude (LOL)...:D:D:D 'Course, things would be easier for the assisted-blind like myself, if we had WSYWIG on this site, that way, I wouldn't have to post then proofread my posts... Hint, hint, hint...;)
