Since both of my Avanti's did not not have there original jacks, can anyone here describe what was used and if any trunk tools were also supplied.

Any suggestions as to where something like this can be found other than ebay?

All these years I didn't think R2954 had the right jack either. Then, Avanti Magazine arrived yesterday and Jon Myers addresses that question in his column. He says that worm gear-scissors jack doesn't really fit the place made for it in the spare tire well.

No problem with the factory jack, it's that jack handle that is a problem storing. Laying across the top original Firestone spare it is a chore to fasten the spare tire well lid. Any suggestions other then letting it lay loose on the trunk floor.[?]

A couple of strips of Velcro, the hook side, should keep it from moving around...providing there's carpet in the trunk.

All five tires on my car are 205X75X15.

I have no problem with the factory jack living below the spare. Plenty of room and it does not make noise.

I can't really tell if the owner's manual shows the folding jack handle laying on the floor or if it's on top of the spare.
You do know about the secret lug wrench hiding place?

These are the tools that were original to my (former) R5420- jack, handle and tire tool in its "hiding" place.

I may have a jack and handle like that, but I don't know about the wrench. I could probably bring them to Lancaster if they were pre-purchsed. Contact me off the Forum.
