That appears to be a 1939. A restored 1939 just recently (last month) sold at auction for $72,500. I know that the seller had paid much more for the CE.
There is a nose/front clip for a 1937 for sale at Ulibarri's Salvage in Las Vegas, NM (note: NM not NV).

That's worse than the '40 Commander sedan/farm hack I wrested from several trees some years ago. Wish I'd taken photos of it before I went at with a chain saw. Took the better part of one hot, sweaty day to get it loose from what had grown up thru floorboards and engine compartment!
Amazing thing was that after I got it home, I trickled sime gas into the carb, hot-wired the coil and jumped the starter and the thing fired right off!!![:0] Guy I got it from said it hadn't moved since 1960.
Miscreant Studebaker nut in California's central valley.
1957 Transtar 1/2ton
1960 Larkvertible V8
1958 Provincial wagon
1953 Commander coupe
1957 President two door
No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.
