I think we have one in terrible rusty shape, but maybe not bent up, if you have none, as you know a good one is IMPOSSIBLE to find!

I would have to find out how to tell the exact year and body style: business coupe vs Coupe or 2 dr. probably need the length, because I know nothing about old Studes. never had one, mine are all NEW Studes.! 1954 to 1965!

Shipping is also a pretty big issue as it is up here in Washington State. All I know is it's one of those long narrow decklids with the moulding down the center that had the really long lazy "S". So I don't want to price it unless I know it will fit.

If a correct lid can be found and someone in the vicinity doesn't mind hauling it to Lancaster and Studelover can pick it up there, shipping issues are resolved.

42 and 46 should work also. Just trim is different.

The one on my 41 2 door Champion is 36 1/2" from top to bottom measured in the middle. About 39" across the top.

The parts book does not differentiate between the business coupe and the double dater. We are talking coupe not 2 door?

I gave Mike the measurements of my 2 door trunklid so he could figure out what lid he had Klif.In other words if it was one for a coupe.

This is an old blog. But my friend made a mold for mine, he can make more if need be. I have a 41 and 42 Champian Coupe , they are the same. I think 40 is a lot the same. Maybe we can help. Ted gasserted@yahoo.com
