  • Nothing like a road trip......

So a while back i followed a lead on a 50 Champ Starlight for sale. It was for sale in Northern BC. After corresponding for over a month, yesterday i took delivery of the car in Edmonton and headed for home. The fellow i bought it from drove it the first 600 miles to Edmonton, and I hopped a ride with my folks to Edmonton to bring it the last 300 miles home. Car looks and rides good. It had developed an oil leak on the way to edmonton, the flex line for the oil guage had started leaking, so a quick parking lot fix with a plug from the local NAPA had me on the way home. Heres a couple pics i took on the way home. Nothing like a nice ride in the country.

Thanks for the pictures. Looks like you killed a few bugs along the way!

What is that red light on the left side of the dashboard?

                    Leonard,
that is actually an amber light, and is a fog light indicator light as far as i can tell. I dont think its factory equipment, but i'm not sure.

Great story! I've many times talked about how much I love road trips[^]

That's some great condition to make a 900 mile trip without a breakdown. Obviously much more than just great looks to that one. Great buy, Evan!

That is a beauty! And it runs great too if it can do 900 miles just like that. Good luck with it.
