  • 1961 Lark with single headlights

There is a 61 Lark on E-Bay that has single headlights. Most 61 Larks have dual headlights on each fender. Has anyone ever seen the front of a Lark like this? I was thinking that it just had a 59-60 frontclip but the turn signals are round. It does have the OHV6 instead of the L head that would be in a 60 Lark.
This car is not far from me and I am thinking of "rescuing" it.

That's the 'base' front end. The quad lamps were optional, unless you got a Cruiser or another high line model.

        Thanks Tom,
I did not know the quad headlights were a option. It makes sense now.
Now do I really need another Lark??

That's an interesting question. Did the '61 Larks ever have single headlamps? I, for one, have NEVER seen one. All the '61s I've ever seen had the dual lamps. However, I still can be educated.
