  • Interesting project truck

I happened across this '56 1 ton on e-Bay that is reposing in Nebraska.

The cab looks solid, but the body on the back (which appears to a refrigerator style) looks to need some work on the doors. If I was closer, I would throw the opening bid of $500 at it just for the cab and lenses.

Now wouldn't that make a cool parts hauler. [8D]

Or maybe the Rehydration Station on wheels?

The latter may not be such a great idea... [)]

Yeah, but it probably rides like a truck.

If this guy is serious about selling this truck he really needs pictures of the interior of the truck and box. Some closeups of the outside would also help.

More pictures would certainly help! Looks like a good deal for the money, seems complete for what you can see. It'd be 12 volt, so putting some refrigeration equipment in is doable.[8D]

That is a cool truck.[8D] I agree that more pics would go along way. With the right two tone paint job on a refrigeration truck, a guy could be the Popsicle Dude. Sorry,I couldn't resist that one.

Sure wish these trucks could talk.
I love knowing the history behind a vehicle.

Now Matthew, what do you know about the Rehydration Station, and were you carded when you went there?
