  • Stainless restoration referral

People (past customers mostly) have been asking me where to get stainless restored. If anyone knows of a capable stainless restorer I would like to be able to refer them there.

I have a rumor that someone in the southwest was doing Studebaker stainless but I have no name or other knowledge.

Some of the people who entrusted me with their stainless pieces said that they preferred to work with someone who was into Studebakers rather than an all-make cars guy. I know that was of some value. Sometimes they sent me incorrect pieces that had bought for their car but never installed yet. I was also somewhat familiar with the scarcity of some pieces to determine that were worth the extra salvage effort. So if there is another Stude or orphan specialist that would be great.

There was a hispanic fella in my area - I even met him once - that had a good reputation with local car nuts. I'll ask my go-to old car guy if he knows of this fella's where'bouts these days.

Miscreant Studebaker nut in California's central valley.

No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

LiBrandi Plating does stainless restoration but it is not their specialty. There's a lot of stuff they will not attempt, to their credit. Evaluations and estimates are free and, if they do it, it's good.
