4 speed truck floorshift boot

I tried the search but could not find anything.Someone posted
about a rubber roof cap or something to with roofs.They bought
this piece at Home Depo and made a floor shift boot out of it.
If some one rembers this can you please let me no.

Lenny, my apologies for having offended you. I meant that in a VERY generic way, buying one product that will work as another product. That's all. I do it all the time. Needed a heat deflector thingee on my fuel line, made my own out of roofing flashing. Good as store bought. Needed shims for lowering my trunk lid to match the cowling, used old washers out of my spare washer bucket. Lack of space to list all the ways I use the Scot genes from my dad.

As you know Lenny, Studebaker never used boots on those shifters. I've read that boots from some Internationals will work.

Lenny, I've heard that some CJ Jeep boots will work. I googled cj shifter boot and found pictures but no good diamensions. I suggest you be sure you know the diameter of your stick for a tight fit, and go to a Jeep parts supplier and look at what they have.
