I'd prefer seeing them "beat up" rather than rusty. And they are still available for parts or rebuild as opposed to being crushed. I think of theese as a valuable resource.

Interesting find! If the Body Tag # (56J K7 143) given in the auction description is the original for this vehicle, that '56 Golden Hawk would have been the 16th off the California assembly line (Serial # 6800016). Wonder if it still has all the Power Window stuff on the left door???
