Took the Stude to the "Niftee 50ees" Car show in Houston this weekend. These folks are wonderful, and the show is well attended, but look where I got stuck:D[IMG]http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc42/Dragasaurus/DSC01930.jpg

Hey Chuck - take solace that you were getting the Studebaker word out! [^]

At least they were PRETTY Chevys :). I especially like the look of the American Mags and red line tires on the one on the left.

Nice "bookends" for a beautiful Hawk [:p]

We are there every week I am home, and hoping to see new Studebakers...but we were in Oklahoma for a wedding! Will you be coming back?

This is where we got stuck a couple times ago:

had to show off our nifty doors too.

They had some beautiful Chevy's. They have a little of everything that one might be interested in. They have had as many as 450 cars there on a saturday night. I think there were a couple of hundred this time.

Yes, will be back. The car has been apart for a while, and this is the first time that I have been there in two years (new floors, and a genuine JDP interior). Yours looks great!

When the DeLorean guys show up enmasse, they are quite impressive. Have seen as many as 7 of them lined up in a row.

Dick, the guy with the SS with the red line tires, is getting ready to pull out his trans, and go with a Tremec 5 speed. With 396/375 and his 3.08 gears, he should be able to run NASCAR.

Thanks (though it is definitely a 20+ footer).
It is quite an amazing show, and am constantly amazed by the cars that show up. I keep meaning to mention to the local Studebaker club that we should have an outing there. I am a member but have only made one meeting since I am usually in school.
