I have a 1964 Studebaker Champ P/U. I'd like to have the engine and transmission re-built. Any suggestions for A GOOD PLACE TO GO IN THE dAYTON, oH AREA?

If you are looking for GOOD, not necessarily cheap, you will like Jon and Mike Myer at Myer's Studebaker in Duncan Falls, Ohio 740 674 4897. :)

Sorry, I have no idea if Dayton is near there, but in your State is about as good as you can hope for, there are not many of us left that can and will do this right!

Also you mask these folks in Fairborn for a local recommendation...(for those of you SDCers who don't know, Fairborn is a suburb of Dayton)

Had the engine rebuilt by Phil Harris at Fairborn Studebaker. A class act man. If you want honest business dealings, go to Phil.

What he said. Phil is close to Dayton, and is an excellent mechanic.
