A friend has a '53 V/8 with chronic vapor lock problems. Does anyone have information on installation of a return line from carb to gas tank that would help solve this problem?

I almost put a return line on my 1955 Prez, your advice was very helpfull and would have worked fine. When I discovered my fuel line had been crushed 1/2 closed in two places I decided to start with a new fuel line. The new fuel line solved the problem so fsr. I drove 697 miles last week in heat of 91 degres the one day. The electric fuel pump was used once, a six way intersection, heat of 91 degrees, and the end of an all day drive. The return line my still be needed but I'm going with the present fix for now. -
