Why 2 swaps in South Bend

Just curious why SASCO and the Michiana chapter swaps are seperate events on the same day? Not a big deal to go to both, just curious.

SASCO once hosted the whole deal, but vendors setting up a vendors location is a issue for some, and SASSCO can't move. Since many vendors buy from SASCO and resell, it makes it even stranger.

Newman-Altman, now SASCO provided free spaces, as SASCO continues to this day. Only expense is table rent. There was/is no objection to bringing your own tables and chairs.

Part of the fun is traveling back and forth between the two locations-and more people see more Studebakers on the road!!

I am thinking about purchasing a 64 Lark hood from SASCO. Is anyone who plans on attending coming through the northern Virginia area on the return trip and have room to bring this hood along? Thanks.
