Yes...my car...here's an earlier thread...
I am poking along on the "restoration". Gord delivered the '55 President motor that is going to be installed. The OD trany with the Jeep floor shifter conversion will be on his next trip down. I was going to run some finned valve covers on it, but I LOVE the PASSMASTER logo on the valve covers now and may have to use some chrome covers with those decals. The 2 x 2 set up is almost ready to go.
The undercarriage is cleaned up and ready for paint. I snagged some Coker wide whites at the Portland swap meet. They will be installed on stock 5" Stude wheels with the 55 Plymouth hub caps (as shown in the ORS picture).
Grill surrounds on tail light housings are on the way to Jerry Forrester for re-chroming.
Still looking for a period Go Kart.

The worst job of all. I've been pecking along at mine. Yuck. I'll hit it for 5-6 hours tomrrow which will leave me about half-done. And when I'm done it will only look nice and clean, not a "show" undercarriage.quote:Originally posted by Dick Steinkamp
