        Maybe a few before they starting breaking transmissions and switched to the HD flightomatic and Powershift.

              Now I wonder if the tranny is the origional one, or was it replaced with a HD one? It's not gold anymore either. Also makes me wonder about the desirability of this particular version. Meaning not a 4 speed or a powershift.

                In my opinion, R1 AT,s on the column are not such more collectible then a 289.maybe less then a 4 speed stock 289.

                  The HD FOM's were water cooled. If you have lines going from the trans to the bottom of the radiator, it's a HD FOM. If not, regular air cooled FOM.

                    I saw that car, and was proud of myself that I recognized it was an r1 based on the "JT" in the engine number[^]
