Bob, there are plenty of beautiful colors you can pick from, Studebaker or otherwise. I say go for what expresses your style and taste, and don't worry about "purist" attitudes.

    It's your car. Satisfy yourself.

      color change

Ok.. the purists will want to shoot me on this one.. I really don't relish the thought of getting done with the car and end up with a "pink" studebaker.. Since the car is completely disassembled.. would the value be hurt if I were to change the car completely to silvermist or some other color a bit less feminine?

It's your car do what you want.
But if you want to keep it stock or hope to sell it to s Studebaker collector one day, an original Stude color (not necessarily your car's origninal color) would not hurt.

            I'd paint it...

...Panther Pink. This was an actual color used on Dodge Challengers in 1970. Would you be intemidated back in the day racing a Hemi Challenger in this color???

Well.. I'm leaning towards silver mist as it can carry the rosemist interior color off.. It will no doubt be a Stude color.
