  • "reskinning" Stude Hubcaps???

I seen references to people having their 1930s hubcaps reskinned ( for artillary wheels). Does anyone know who does this or who I can contact to find out about it?

Look up forum member "studebaker wheel" and ask him. If he doesn't know, no one will.

    Miscreant adrift in
    the BerStuda Triangle

    1957 Transtar 1/2ton
    1960 Larkvertible V8
    1958 Provincial wagon
    1953 Commander coupe

No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

        Right here!

Richard Quinn does a great repop of a Dictator and President hubcap.
He advertises in TW, too. Hope the info helps.

Lionel Stone did a set for my 35 Dictator. Heavier skin than the original but fit and look great. I supplied the cores.

I don't believe Richard's reproductions are for artillery wheels. Those would snap in to the hub, rather than over it.

Thanks all--I was looking for someone who could redo 34 caps. Looks like it might cost a "little".
