  • Studeski to York

Went with Terry Frye and Tim Kobernik (GTTim)

We had a great time. Saw a lot of sheet metal we don't usually see. Vendors we don't usually see. Saw some high prices and some reasonable prices. A pair of NOS Wagonaire tail lamps w/lenses - $350. They did not sell. A pair of fresh chrome full flow valve covers that really looked nice for $295. A pair of chrome covers NOS for $325. I didn't ask on the nos C/K fenders. Fresh chrome bumpers are up to $370. Used A/C setups are still $350 with parts missing.

I saw a lot of familiar faces. Met Bob Andrews (Bams50). Really great guy! He's got a lot of energy I don't have. Just a young pup though
Always great to see Bob Palma and Dick Quinn.

Only thing to me was if I drive 800 miles to a swap meet I'd like it to be a little bigger. After all the hype over the years I expected more.

    Still had a great time!!

    Claude,

Good to see you again. Just looking at all that junk I had to load back into my trailer got my back hurting again.

        Gary,
You just need to figure out how to have parts you'll sell at York delivered to York.

If I operated that way I would not have sold your windshield.

Great to meet you also, Claude! Me, a young pup? Thanks for that- I'm gonna tell my family you said so!

RE: the size- I felt the same way the first time I went, but just figured my perspective was out of whack. I still love to go, just know what to expect now

Hope to see you at Lancaster[^]

Oh my gosh!!! I forgot DustyBob! Whenever I travel East I look forward to hooking with him. And if I don't see him I am disappointed. A great friend.

Gary, good to see you again too! You had a lot of stuff there. I hope you sold enough.

Bob.........well us older farts like to see some younger blood in the fold. Besides we could probably get a group rate if we all get treated for the addiction at the same place.
