I've got a '56 hood that could be had for free. Bent rear corners, but otherwise solid. Fairly sure it would fit 57 sedans.[^] Of course, I'm on the wrong end of the continent.

Sadly, that needn't BE the case, but most folks don't know to pull a Stude hood towards them as they lift.
