I dont know if this is right forum to talk about this , but i am building a hot rod truck and was looking for a chevy pickup bed to shorten for my 39 chevy , my nephew said he knew where there was an old bed in his neighbors barn he said it was in very good condition . I bought it sight unseen. he brought to me and i quickly discovered it was in fact a studebaker bed , has studebaker on tailgate he didnt notice before because bed was standing on end.i hate to cut this up because its in such nice condition only surface rust and some angle iron added that can be taken off with little effort . Im guessing mid to late 40s if any one is interested they can email me , thanks Tom
