I am tickled pink...all three of the horns on my 55' work. They were all disconnected, so I thought they were fubar!! They look like new now![^]

I'm hoping mine will work, but they sure do look rusty. Time will tell.

Wow, you've actually got all three??

What does the third one look like and where does it mount? My Speedster didn't come with the third one. And the front clip was already pretty much dis-assembled. Can you put a picture up here?

Yea.. those horns had a very distinctive sound. Mom would go out and blow that horn when I was a kid and we knew we had better hi-tail it to the house...probably lunch or dinner time... if she had to blow it a second time, we were in trouble... we were always down on Bull Creek, fishing or messing around... that creek kept me out of a lot of trouble!! They put a watershed program in place and dried up the creek... all the fishing holes and rapids and everything... its a trickle today...[V]

The Speedster came standard with the 3rd horn. It's a short trumpt about 15 in long. It mounts on an L bracket from the two under the center of the grill, it faces to the side.

Thanks. Right now Natasha's "normal" horns are mounted on brackets attached to the fenders. I never would have guessed how the trumpet was mounted. (obviously I haven't spent a lot of time with the manuals yet.)

                Thanks for the pictures.

Natasha's front fenders and radiator saddle are off now. Now I have to decide which pair of front fenders are better candidates for fixing. . . or whether I should just give up and look for a third pair. But the firewall and cowl really lok nice under those raunchy fenders.
