A friend wants to know if a 50 bullet nose will mount on 51 car. I assume he means with no modification to the car.

The large center hole in the sheet metal that receives the bullet is bigger on the 50 than it is on the 51 so the sheet metal has to be cut all the way around. Yes, by cutting the center hole larger, as Roy said, and redrilling the mounting holes a 50 bullet will fit a 51. OP asked for no modifications and a 50 bullet will not fit a 51 without modifications to the sheet metal.

Here is my 51 with a 50 nose. Not hard to install. Only drilled two of the holes different, a bit of the body round metal out. Hood is up a little in the first picture.
