So today it was hot (upper 80's) and humid in the NYC metro area.
Took the Avanti for a 60 minute spin down the worlds longest parking lot (Long Island Expressway) which gave me the first opportunity to luxuriate behind the wheel with the recently repaired a/c system .....which I am happy to report was putting out a very impressive 35 degrees!!
Glad I stayed the course with R12 and not 134A.......

Yeah.. that R12 is very impressive fer sher. How was the engine temp? Staying happy? Or was she sweating too?

Goombah!.....temp gauge never rose much above 180 at a steady 60-70.:-) Glad I stocked up on R12 50 years ago....cases on sale at the AID Auto store came to about 40 cents a can!!......have now maybe a dozen cans left.

You should have bought the 30 Lb. Canister, I have at least a 4 lifetime supply!
