  • Bob Peterson's Studebakers Owner Club

It seems that a lot of people here own Studebakers that were once owned by Bob Peterson (including my 1964 Daytona convert).
Anybody that lists their Studebaker here (provided that it was once owned by Bob Peterson) is a member of the 'Bob Peterson's Studebakers Owner Club'.
Admission to the club is free, and the benefits (or lack there of) are priceless.

    StudebakerS Owner Club huh.

You came VERY Close to naming it this: "The "Studebaker Owners Club", it was real in around 1970-'71 and included the entire West Coast and Hawaii except the Sequoia Chapter, (due to the Riff between Paul Gunder and Fred Fox) and was later absorbed by the SDC. Very CLOSE but no Cigar!

So far as I know, none of Bob's Cars have made it this far North. <You could take that 2 very different ways!

My Daytona convertible was nearly that far North, it was in Oregon when I purchased it.

I bought these from Bob, and all made it this far north. (Some probably to your house, Rich )

(There are probably others, but I've lost track in my old age. )

I think every one of the 25 or so Studebakers that I put together had parts from Bob in them.

Bob is a good friend and a real asset to the Studebaker hobby. If it wasn't for Bob, I would not have been into Studebakers.

                Richard,

Recently arrived in the stable of Randy Bohannan, in the Tacoma area, is Bob's beautiful 1952 Commander htp. So the legacy continues.

I believe, I'm aware of at least one, that he had shipped to Norway. How far North is that?

I could not find a C cab gas tank in Virginia. Bob sent one in excellent condition to me from California.

I am not sure about North travelling cars of Bob's but I do know that at least 18 have come South to New Zealand and thats about as far South as you can go! You could not find a more dedicated and helpful guy than Bob.
