Studebakers at the Bean
A Studebaker, Avanti, Packard, Nash, Hudson Kaiser, Frazier, and all other orphan makes
Drag Race will be held Sunday May 18, 2008 at Brown County Dragway. BCD located at 4100 Gatesville Road, Bean Blossom. Take Indiana135 five miles North of Nashville IN (or five miles south of Morgantown IN) to Bean Blossom IN. Then take Gatesville Road one mile east from Bean Blossom. We are about 2 hours from Cincinnati, and 1 hour south of Indianapolis.
All skill and performance levels are welcome and encouraged to attend. Experience how much fun racing can be. This is a 1/8 mile outlaw track where spectators sit close to the track and enjoy the racing. Sit in the bleachers or bring your own chairs and cheer on your favorite drivers. Picnicking welcome, or buy food at the snack bar. Nearby camping and motels. Also lodging at beautiful Brown County State Park, http://www.browncountystatepark.com/ only 7 miles from the track. We hope to have a good turnout of Studebakers and other orphan makes at this event. All cars will need to pass a tech inspection to race. A combination spectator & pit pass is $7.00. Sportsman racers are $25.00. Track opens at 9:00 AM practice at 11:00, racing at 2:00PM.
