Leonard this is an interesting site and looks like there is no true relevance between planes and cars.

Interesting site. It seemed that as the years go one the cars got more and more mundane.

A Met police car? That thing couldn't catch its own shadow.

My next Studebaker is in the future, but now getting my hair messed up in a Sebring ragtop!
Almost as fun as a Studebaker!

Hey, Mark someday I'll tell the story about how cop caught me while he was on foot and I was driving. Seems like they could have used beter examples of cars. Like how about a Hawk for the Stude.

I'm a retired Air Force officer...it's clear the point they're trying to make is that a lot of our planes are old...or at least old designs.

The newest B-52 in service was built in 1962, the last KC-135 was built in 1965. Most of the F-15s are 15+ years old, the C-130s at my last base were 73-74 models.
                        Old Stuff.

What would be fun is to take pictures of old cars witn vintage civilian planes...say a nice 63 Beech Bonanza with an Avanti...the kind of car and plane a doctor woould have had back then.

I have a photo of my Bearcat next to a rare original 1917 Curtiss Jenny owned by a friend. It's fun.

                        63 Avanti R1 2788
                        1914 Stutz Bearcat

I might be in the US NAVY, but I can't help but notice a thing or two about these Air Force planes~

                            Notice something funny about the "C-130E" [?] [?] [?]
Hint: that is NOT a C130E~ look at the props... [:0]

Don't even get me started on the RC-135 and those brand new engines~
                            those are not from 1973!!!

Maybe I ought to join the AFA and set them in the right direction [?] [?] [?]
