My friend in a nearby town has several project cars in his yard, and I find this one to be interesting. Although it’s crudely done, the lines I think work pretty well, and if someone built one like this but did it nicely, it could be pretty cool I think. What about you? You like, or no?Click image for larger version

    Someone should finish it.

I'd reduce the mass at the rear corner of the roof....by about half I think.

I agree the earmuff is a little heavy, but agreed, he should finish it.

All he's done is move the rear piece of the roof forward. Makes the door side glass kind of small. I would move it back some and have a very small glass just past the door glass. Would take some labor to make it look right and nice but would be one of one. Factory experimental.

I'd replace the trunk lid, shorten the body tub and frame by 8" behind the door, build a sturdy bulkhead behind the seats, and replace the roof with a Targa type roll bar with a removable roof panel. Then carefully restore the rest to appear as a two seat Hawk that the Factory could have built.

Send it to China, maybe they would love it.

Here is a picture of it back in 1979 when I first drove it home, (I traded it to the current owner). I will admit I thought it was cool with the exception of the rear flared fender attempt.

I guess I think it has possibilities just because it is Different and has not been done.

Replace the bogus flared rear fenders, and add a nice tailgate, like was done on the Kart Hauler, and it could be quite attractive. I don't know how much room it has, inside the cab, though? It might be a little tight?

A long time ago I did a phantom of a GT Hawk business coupe.
This looks sort of like that one
