  • 2R-Series Interior Panels

    Hi,

I'm hoping someone might be able to help...

I've got a '53 2R-Series truck that doesn't have any of the interior panels, headboard and the like and I'm wondering what might be the best way of obtaining them, or patterns to make up a set.

Any ideas greatly appreciated and thanks,
    Richard

I'm sure there are. Those of us who are comfortable on the net have connections that many people are in the dark about. I meet people who have been in the SDC for years, but have missed out on all sorts of info we consider old news.

True; but Ernie Loga has been advertising his products in Turning Wheels every month for the past forty years.

I appreciate all the recommendations and comments as new to the world of Pickup trucks. Now, if you were to ask me about 56J parts, I couuld recommend all the best people and companies to get in touch with... so, I'm slowly getting on-board.

                Thanks again, Richard

It is amazing , how many people call me for parts and I ask them if they use a computer and can send ,me an email with the parts they need.
Many times they state that their wives use email and are computer literate but they themselves know nothing about computers.
The wives get familiar with computers at their jobs.
I am lucky at 82 that I can use my computer because my kids taught me.
My 12 year old grandson could not believe that when I grew up , we did not have computers.

When some of us grew up, we did not have televisions.

Some of us also did not have telephones. When we finally got them they were Party Lines!

Have you seen some of the videos of today's teens trying to figure out how to use a rotary dial phone?

Wont be long before the Television is gone again anyway in favor of In-Head entertainment, or Plain Internet Tablets like many are going to now.
