What 'material' was used to make the backer board? I need to redo mine.

They are some of the NOS ones I got from SI in South Bend in May. They might have a few more. If not Ernie Loga makes them too.

Brad does gorgeous work and I know in most restorations originality is critical but if you can find 1/8" ABS sheet locally and don't care about originality you can make your's. ABS is waterproof as opposed to the OEM one's. Mine in ABS for my 74 Avanti.

Brad, do you have an industrial stapler to attach those wipes?

No, I wish I had a stapler that would go through metal! I made the staples out of galvanized wire, and bent them, and drilled holes and inserted them and crimped them with smooth jawed pliers.

Last I heard, the red/black carpet was not available. Is it now available or did you have a secret stash?

If I told you it wouldn't be a secret now would it? I can do red and black like this in the correct type of pile. NOT loop nor cut pile. It's a very short shag just like original.
