There is a nice 1963 Gt with R2 & 4 speed on E Bay for sale like the one I purchased in Eureka Ca. around the late 70s for $500.00 and ran it into the ground for a good 20 years I liked it way better than the Avanti for the comfort and interior design
I wonder what the price would be now days for this GT 20 K ???

Well, you were a very lucky thief! All the $500 GTs I ever saw were rusted-out standard engines.

In describing this car, the broker begins somewhat weakly with,

Studebaker isn't quite mainstream, but there are a lot of guys who really dig their performance/luxury coupes like this 1963 Studebaker Hawk Gran Turismo.

but closes stronger,

With just over 4000 Hawk GTs built in 1963, and an even smaller amount of supercharged productions, this is a rather rare piece and is just right for the guy who understands that muscle cars weren't all built by the Big Three. Call today!

The auction ends next Wednesday, so we'll soon know exactly what they're worth in today's depreciated dollars.

That's a lot nicer than my 63 was, and mine was only eleven years old.

Surprised that there is no rear sway bar, though. Studebaker put rear sway bars on a lot of different cars over the years and putting one on a supercharged car with a 4 speed would certainly seem like a no brainer.
