IIRC, 47-52 doors will interchange, as long as your talking about the same model.

Yes, 2 doors fit 2 doors and 4 doors fit 4 doors, except for the rear doors on the Land Cruiser being longer and having vent windows. I think even a Champion 2 door is the same as the Commander 2 door.

A slight hijack of this thread; same subject, different car. Will rear doors from a '56 president fit a '56 Commander?
Howard - Los Angeles chapter SDC
'53 Commander Starliner (Finally running and driving, but still in process)
'56 Golden Hawk (3 speed/overdrive, Power steering - Running, but not yet driving)
'58 Packard Hawk. A partially restored car that was not completely assembled.

Again, as long a the Body Type matches, Yes.
A "W" Body to a "W" Body OR a "Y" Body to a "Y" Body, but of course there were no Commander "Y" Bodies.

On a '56, there is just a LOT of Moulding Holes to weld up.

strange how you managed to hijack the thread if it wasn't that clear from the original post
