They had an 8 hour endurance race in the east (conneticut?) back in 62 or so. In my "Classic and Sportscar" magazine which is from England they wrote an extensive article about it.
There were three Lark v8s entered by Holman and Moody of Nascar fame. One of the Larks was rolled comprehensively by Mr. Holman in practice day before the race, straightened out and run in the race. One of the Larks ended up winning.
